Welcome to Roseville Select Soccer

The Select Program (Division 3) is one step up from the Recreational (Division 4) Program and consists of a longer season with more opportunities for competition via tournament play.  The season typically starts the beginning of June with training and tournament preparation, various local and travel tournaments, regular playing league in the Fall (September through November) and post league tournament play.

Registration Fee for the Select Program is currently $80 per player.  Costs will vary team to team but typically will range between $300-500 for the season.  Fundraising opportunities exist to help lower costs.  Speak to the coach about these opportunities to help out.



Select Schedules and Metro League Information
All Select (Division III) schedules are available online at the District VI website under the Metro League tab. Schedules are posted approximately one to two weeks prior to the first game of the season.  Standings and match results can also be found on the Metro League page.

If you think you are ready to take your coaching to the next level, you can download the RYSC Select Coach App 2010-11 Season
and follow the instructions found within.  The deadline to apply for the 2010-11 Season is 12/15/2009.

Instructions for Requesting a Make Up Game
 
1. E-mail Carlos Silva at youthsportscoalition@rosevillesoccer.com with a “cc” to
csilva_31@yahoo.com with the following information.
a. Reason why game is being cancelled.
b. Date, time and location of game being cancelled
c. Age group and gender of teams playing
d. Home team coach’s name
e. Home team coach’s phone numbers (home & cell)
f. Home team coach’s e-mail address
g. Home team name
h. Visiting team coach’s name
i. Visiting team name
 
2. Once the information shown above is received, the scheduler will review it to
make sure the reason for the request is within Club Guidelines.  If it is, the
scheduler will contact you with a list of dates, times and locations that are
available for a make up game.  If it is not, the scheduler will contact you letting
you know your request was denied.  Please keep in mind that the Club has fields
pre-reserved for make up games and you MUST schedule your game on one of
the dates/times/locations provided by the scheduler.
3. The scheduler will coordinate the reservation of the field, coordinate scheduling
of the referees and provide you with any other pertinent information (i.e., field
equipment pickup, etc.)
4. The home team is responsible for field set up and field tear down.
