RYSC Referees Shine in District Cup Finals
Roseville Youth Soccer Club Referees were showcased in the 2008 District VI Cup Finals. Sixteen Roseville referee names were submitted to the District VI Referee Staff and all sixteen were chosen to participate in the finals. Glenn Mitchell and Jake Schmitz both received the District Referee Award for their top notch officiating during the finals.
Our Club was the only Club in District VI that was honored to have so many referees selected. The District VI Referee Staff informed our Director of Referees, Chuck Pirone, that due to their outstanding service in the finals RYSC referees will be invited back next year to again be showcased in the 2009 District Cup Finals. This is truly a testament to our referees and to the program that we continue to develop within the Roseville Youth Soccer Club.
